WASTELANDS RADIO FORMAT CHANGES

I feel it is time once more to adapt and make changes to The Wastelands to help it's growth. Since Brutal Existence Radio closed I'm struggling immensely for the support with the music radio shows i.e. The Wastelands. DIY is no stranger to me, and I'm aware how difficult it can be as you cannot compete with stations and famous bands/artists, and so on. It is never easy, many give up, which is understandable, resulting in them leaving the scenes.

Hopefully the changes I'm going to introduce can attract new listeners and generate support. Metal and punk are separating into individual shows in a new format outlined below:

Week 1- The Wastelands Metal Edition. Featuring Death Metal, Doom, Thrash, Sludge, Desert Rock, Traditional Heavy Metal, Desert Rock, Hard Rock, Speed Metal, Stoner Rock, Brutal DM, Old School DM, Slam, Blues, Death Grind, and genres of metal/rock able to flow with the above.

Week 2 - The Wastelands Punk Edition. Featuring HC Punk, HC, NYHC, Metallic HC, Crust, D-Beat, Metal Punk, Grindcore, Crust Grind, Anarcho Punk, Celtic Punk, Crossover, Fastcore, Punk, Stench, Thrashcore, Straight Edge HC, and genres relating to or can flow with the above.

Week 3 - The Wastelands Wandering Moods Edition. A mixed show of weeks 1 & 2, but with the show split into two individual shows to reflect metal and punk.

Part 1: 1hr 30 mins (Wastelands punk edition)

Part 2: 1hr 30 mins (Wastelands metal edition).

Week 4 - Crimson Bones Thrash Radio w/ Captain Midnight Mosh. Thrash Metal/Crossover.

I hope everyone is able to appreciate the new ideas and can get behind them. The Wastelands theme and concept is something I greatly enjoy, but if I need to choose new names for the shows and themes to give them individual characteristics, then I am willing to meet that particular challenge.

The next blog post outlines this in further detail, which can be read here and at the link below.

The usual movie reviews, nerding, silly humor, etc, remain as part of all shows.
