1. How would you describe your music?

Emotional. Storytelling. Provocative.

2. What gave you the idea for the single title?

“Cross Point”. This is the point, where a lot of things are going together and start to work in one direction.

Your hopes and expectations with your real possibilities; you desires with your reality. Your strong and weak sides.

3. Do you work together with others in the writing process?

I have different projects. Half of my life I played in bands, so I really have big experience with composing together. But lately I prefer to compose alone. Maximal in duo (for example my project Gubanova&Strauss)

4. How much time to do you take record songs?

Depends on. Sometimes I already have an idea and it goes really fast. Sometimes I’m working at one piece for month. But if we are talking exactly about recording - I am really fast. One two hours could be absolutely enough.

5. Does this release differ from past music releases? How?

Absolutely. Before I produced clean piano tracks. Now it will be different.

6. Do you like to change it up for each release with lyrical themes?

Sure. Everything is about my inner experiences. What worries me in a given period of time.

7. Where do you draw your influences and inspirations from?

Everywhere. Nature. World around me. Art. But I’m absolutely far away form politics and social problems.

8. What has been the most enjoyable thing you have done as a musician/singer?

Impossible to answer. I enjoy all sides of musicians life.

9. What do you feel is the biggest challenge going forward with your career?

The biggest challenge now is to bring my music to the right listener. Too much happening around and it’s really difficult to catch people’s attention.

10. What do you enjoy outside of music?

Nature, literature. I like long private conversations with cup of tea.
